Update on the ongoing changes to the new Class Mailing Lists- Jan 10,2001.
There was a slight bug that prevented some classes from doing manual
adds via the listproc management interface at http://listproc.ucdavis.edu.
The symptom was that adds were dropped after the next day.
Thanks to the help of some alert users, we were able to track and fix the problem.
If you believe your manuals adds might have been dropped from the list,
please check and readd them if necessary.
We've changed the listproc management interface around slightly.
If you select 'list all subscribers', you see everybody on the list.
This used to only show manual adds to the CML.
If you select 'edit subscribers', you still only see the manual adds.
We also fixed a couple of other bugs that people reported. Some
subscribers were not able to send mail to send-by-subscribers only lists.
There was also a glitch in the log mail. Both of those things have been fixed.
I think the last thing left to do is to add back in the functionality of
listing in the log mail enrolled students that do not have email addresses.
As always, comments and suggestions are welcome.
